Top 5 Superbowl XVIII Ads
The game was one of the best of all-time. The ads? There was no “Apple Macintosh 1984” or “Bud Bowl” TV spot but a few ads stepped up this year. Here are my favorite ads from Superbowl XVIII:
1) Hulu: Alec and Huluwood
Alec Baldwin cements his place as one of the funniest people on the planet…or perhaps not.
2) Monsters vs. Aliens: Trailer 3D
125 million pairs of 3D glasses make this the most memorable advertising gimmicks in recent memory.
3) Doritos: Crystal Ball
Don’t try this at your office.
4) CareerBuilder.com: Tips
If you’re one of these people, it’s probably time to start looking for a new job.
5) Audi: Chase
Jason Statham makes me want to go out and buy an A6.
Dishonorable Mention – G
Gatorade takes one of the most well-known brands in the world and changes the name to one forgettable letter.
Your feedback is welcome. Let us know your thoughts on this year’s Superbowl ads.

1) Did anyone see the 1-second High Life ad? I (predictably) missed it. The press release announcing it was a bigger deal than the ad, apparently.
2) “What is G?” A weak ad campaign. They’ll be back to Gatorade soon enough, just like Tropicana’s recent redesign failure.
